Proudly africa

I should tag today 'fruitful monday' cos I did a lot of useful work and yielded great results..among the useful things I did today was come across 'Boxing Kitten' a line by Maya .A. Lake who uses ankara materials to create unique looks..I couldn't stop looking at her summer spring collection 2011 so i decided to do a piece on african designers I am loving at the moment...

1. ReBahia
I came across this designer last week while looking through the web and I couldn't help but admire the fabrics and style..

2. Afro Chique
Immediately I saw these designs I fell in love...the fabrics,the vivid colours,structured designs...everything was so catchy..so desirable..I couldn't resist..

3. Obsidian
This designer is hot and talented....I came across her line 'control' and its chic...loved it immediately


4. Boxing Kitten
This designer had my eyes glued to my computer all day..she is mega talented and I love every thing I saw..from the va-va dresses to the billie cut out dresses...are all so pretty and playful..

    OKay.okAY... they take our culture and interpret it to theirs, only for us to come stealin designs.lol
